WASHINGTON D.C. — The Department of Homeland Security has told Congress that the agency is creating a “Disinformation Governance Board” to combat misinformation. The Biden administration’s new Committee on Public Information will be led by qualification-less political commentator Nina Jankowicz.

At least, it would have if Jankowicz had not immediately declared that there was no Committee on Public Information.

“As the czar of disinformation in the United States, I can definitely say that anyone claiming there is a Committee on Public Information is spreading both fake new–and probably COVID-19,” Jankowicz proudly announced.

Nina Jankowicz

Jankowicz has been determined enemy of free speech, including her notable testimony before Congress that Americans should not be allowed to publish “unapproved thoughts.”

When asked why she was standing behind a microphone in a government building, Jankowicz replied, “I’m not,” and winked for the cameras.

A reporter asked if Jankowicz was the same Nina Jankowicz involved in the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. Ms. Jankowicz replied that an statements that Mr. Biden accepted lucrative foreign fees for access to President Biden were fake news.

“All subsequent news reports suggesting any improprieties by the Bidens are wrong.”

Many Americans quickly denounced the creation of a “Committee on Public Information” as an alarming Orwellian tactic, referencing the propaganda arm of the totalitarian government depicted in the classic work 1984. When asked about the comparison, Ms. Jankowicz briefly commented:

“As far as the Biden Administration is aware, there is no such book.”

“However,” she paused, “If there were such a book, it probably had a few good ideas.”
