Twitter Agrees Obama Was Better at Everything, Like War Crimes and Deportations

0

NEW YORK, NY — With less than two weeks until the election, former President Barack Obama recently broke tradition and spoke out against President Trump. In response, many Democrats fondly tweeted their admiration for the former president with the hashtag #ObamaWasBetterAtEverything.

“When Obama was president, we could really count on our military to kill foreigners quietly and efficiently,” one Biden-supporter tweeted. “I’m really looking forward to having an administration that can export death on a massive scale again, while excusing us from having to speak out against it. It’s been really exhausting #ObamaWasBetterAtEverything”

“Trump couldn’t even assassinate a world leader like Obama did in Libya. All Trump could do was strategically cripple ISIS while also brokering peace agreements between Israel, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates. ObamaWasBetterAtEverything”

“And then there were the massive immigration concentration camps that Obama’s administration built,” joked one Democrat supporter. “But we didn’t call them that, then. Haha. Trump convinced Mexico to crackdown on surging illegal immigration, so fewer people would enter the Obama camps. Why did we build them? #ObamaWasBetterAtEverything”

“Seriously. Our current talking point is that Trump has lied over 20,000 vague times,” tweeted another Biden supporter. “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan. Amirite? #ObamaWasBetterAtEverything”

“We just want Obama’s old vice president to make American great again. So we can go back to not thinking about some of the awful policies we support #ObamaWasBetterAtEverything”

UK Changes Long Tradition of Drawing and Quartering Homeless People

0

LONDON, UK — The United Kingdom has announced that it plans to change its long-held and ancient practice of drawing and quartering homeless people. Instead by 2025, the UK has vowed to only cut homeless people in half.

This detracts from the ancient English practice of drawing and quartering. Amnesty International has long-condemned the British practice of hanging, drawing, and quartering socially undesirable individuals.

“Back in the 1910s, we got rid of the hanging and drawing. With the first war on, it was really too expensive. You need a hangman, four horses, and four men to drive the horses. Really, it’s jolly good fun, but the labor costs alone have become cost prohibitive.”

“We found that the remaining custom–just cutting homeless people into several bits–was excessively cruel,” announced a representative of Her Majesty’s government. “Further, at least four cuts is still a bit excessive and the clean-up costs have only increased. Why both with all that when one good stroke can do the trick?”

“From now on–,” he snapped his fingers, “It’s once right down the middle.”

Pundits subsequently debated whether the stroke meant vertically or horizontally, as a horizontal technique would likely fit the current government’s austerity measures whereas a vertical cut would be a whole lot of bother.

When asked whether that is really what was meant by the campaign, the government’s representative scoffed that, “Well, we bloody well invented the language, didn’t we?”

Forgotten Celebrity Vows to Leave America If Wrong Candidate Elected

0

LOS ANGELES, CA — A drummer for a band that has not released a platinum album since 1989 bravely announced he would leave the United States if the wrong candidate wins an upcoming election.

“I just think, man, how could Americans be so stupid to elect the guy I don’t like,” said the singer who made his fortune from those very Americans.

The former celebrity was born in Greece but came to America early in life where he found success as a musician in the Los Angeles scene. Briefly in the 90s, the drummer became well known for making a sex-tape with his now-forgotten celebrity ex-wife. Except for occasional tabloid stories about the celebrity’s trouble with drugs and alcohol, he has largely faded from public relevance.

The aging rock star explained his recent claim to move: “The thing that stings the most is that I feel like [America] is embarrassing,” he said, evidencing that he derives his sense of self-worth by the way other people feel about him, and by extension, his country.

“I feel like people in Europe and the rest of the world look at America and think: ‘What the fuck are you guys doing over there? Stop voting for celebrities and get someone real to run the country,” said the forgotten celebrity offering advice on how to “run” a country.

When asked what he planned to do, he shrugged and said, “I’ll probably return to Greece, which has professional European politicians and a much better economic and political environment.”

North Korean Man-Child Tearfully Apologizes for Zero COVID-19 Cases

PYONGYANG, NORTH KOREA — North Korean puppet leader Kim Jong Un tearfully apologized to a press conference of the Worker’s Party for his failed leadership by effectively keeping COVID-19 completely out of North Korea. While COVID-19 had killed over one million people worldwide, North Korea claims to have avoided the ravages of the virus completely.

“I am so sorry for keeping our nation safe! I cry only because I love my people too much. I have failed them by not loving them enough.”

Jumping from her chair, one party member yelled, “The glorious will of our leader, Kim Jong Un, has prevailed once again! The virus has been kept in China! We are safe!”

“Kim Jung Un is too generous for all of North Korea. We would throw a great feast in his honor. If we were able.”

Kim Jung Un went on to apologize for the worsening crop shortages and growing starvation. “We are lucky that the complete and total lack of any COVID-19 cases,” Jong Un winked to the group of party insiders, “will also reduce the number of mouths to feed this winter.”

China’s foreign minister vehemently denied that the virus was present in China but commented that Kim Jong Un’s claims of zero COVID-19 cases was not credible.

Twitter and Facebook: Negative Press About Favored Politician Violates Community Guidelines

PALO ALTO, CA — In a stunning revelation, the New York Post published an original story documenting emails recovered from Hunter Biden’s old laptop which show that Hunter Biden may have sold access to Vice President Joe Biden during 2015.

Rather than report on the facts of the story, The New York Times ignored it completely. Numerous journalists at the Times harshly criticized two Times and Politico journalist’s for even discussing the story publicly on Tiwtter, because it was “amplifying the story” and “putting it into the news cycle.”

Most recently, the New York Post readers found that Facebook and Twitter will not allow the article to be linked to from their social media platforms, arguing that the news article violates their Community Guidelines.

“We think it serves American democracy best if voters don’t seriously consider that the Biden family might have possibly sold access to the highest levels of the United States government,” said spokesmen from Facebook and Twitter.

“Protecting a candidate who pledges to protect our business follows our current Community Guidelines. Don’t forget to vote!”

Amy Coney Barret Revealed to Be Member of Zombie-Worshipping, Blood-Drinking Cannibal Cult

0

WASHINGTON D.C. — In a shocking twist, Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barret was outed as a member of an ancient religious cult during today’s Senate confirmation hearings.

During questioning, Barrett was repeatedly evasive about how should would rule on cases like Roe v. Wade. Barrett replied that should could not answer how should would rule on a particular case, and intoned that her predecessor, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, responded similarly in her own confirmation hearings.

A prominent Senate Democrat cut in and responded that unfortunate information had come to light about Barret’s religious beliefs. “Having taught at Notre Dame Law School before being appointed to the federal judiciary, Ms. Barrett is known to be a member of an ancient religious society.”

“However, it has just come to our attention that Ms. Barret”s religious cult worships a dead Jewish man. They claim he rose from the dead thousands of years ago to judge mankind. Whose laws will she be applying?

“And I have it on good authority, that these cultists both drink their zombie god’s blood and flesh as a symbol of their eternal loyalty. Worse yet, they have culturally appropriated the name of my gardener.”

Gasps and silence fell upon the Senate Chamber.

One Democrat broke the silence: “Well, with that kind of alarming caricature, I don’t see how any Senator would could support her nomination.”

Senate Republicans proceeded to move Amy Coney Barret’s nomination forward.

Sweden Descends into COVID-19 Apocalyptic Hellscape

0

MALMĂ–, SWEDEN — With COVID-19 sweeping across the globe, most nations have imposed severe lockdowns on their citizens to stop further spread of the virus. In a reckless disregard for human life, Sweden has defied all common sense and refused to impose extensive social and economic sanctions against its own citizens. The result has been nothing short of an apocalyptic nightmare.

Earlier this Summer, Sweden was publicly reported as having one of the highest infection rates in Europe. Even where countries such as Italy and France had higher infection and death rates, many viewed it important to widely publicize that Sweden was repeatedly failing to take ordinary safety precautions. And Sweden has certainly felt the impact of its terrible government policy.

Swedes in Malmo assembling for Death’s sweet embrace

In this country of over 10 million, people are carrying on their daily activities, knowing there is nothing that can be done to save 99.95% of the Swedish population who will not die from the virus. The average age of a victim for Sweden’s disastrous policy is 82 years old.

Lena Hallengren, Sweden’s Minister for Health and Social Affairs, notes that the Swedish Constitution protects the individual’s freedom of movement and that government officials do not have the legal power to declare a state of emergency. “Not without an act of Parliament,” she said.

As a direct consequence, almost 100,000 Swedes have been ravaged by COVID-19. Since August 2020, anywhere from zero to four Swedish citizens have been died every single day.

“It is like one of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse has been stalking Sweden for the last few months,” said an alarmed American CNN correspondent. “This isn’t life as normal. Sadly, the Swedes are in a state of denial, resigned to die.”

If the rate of COVID-19 deaths keeps up, Sweden could be completely devoid of human life in as early as five million years.

Nickelodeon to Host Second Presidential Debates

0

ORLANDO, FL — Confusion reigns after the Commission on Presidential Debates quickly cancelled the presidential debate on October 15 and the Trump campaign has declined to participate in a last-minute “virtual debate”. Fortunately, children’s television network Nickelodeon has announced that it has reached agreements on all sides to host the Second Debate. Mike O’Malley has tentatively signed on as moderator.

“Nickelodeon is really excited to be involved in this issue of national importance,” said a spokesman for Nickelodeon. “The debate commission was open to exploring new ideas, but both campaigns were hesitant to some of the changes to the format.”

A spokesman from the Commission on Presidential Debates appearing in the press conference nodded in agreement. “We think some of these format changes will really enhance voters’ viewing experience.”

“Totally,” interrupted Nickelodeon. “It’s really a fusion of awesome ideas. During the first rounds, if anyone interrupts the other candidate? SLIMED!”

“If someone goes over their time? Release the Temple Guards!”

“But even in Round 3–where it could still be anybody’s game–both Trump and Biden will have to climb the Super Aggro Crag.” An ominous rumble of boulders sounded in the distance.

“And there’s no reason to worry about COVID-19. We will follow established protocols. And that green slime is highly antiseptic. Really, no one should ever touch it.”

With only days until the Nickelodeon debates, the Trump campaign has not issued a public response. Commentators speculate that Trump’s recent infection with COVID-19 would impair his athletic performance. The Biden campaign responded only that, “Biden wants a piece of that Crag.”

The spokesperson for the debate commission jumped in: “We’re seeing this as a huge improvement over our previous debate formats.”

“I mean,” said Nickelodeon’s spokesperson, “We are basically dealing with two children here.” Both spokesmen shared an uncomfortable laugh before trailing into a despondent, thousand-yard stare, weeping for the future of the American Republic.

Biden Campaign Offices Awarded Yelp “Racism” Badges

0

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Several prominent Biden campaign offices have been awarded the new “Racist” badge on the popular online review platform, Yelp.

Last summer, Biden publicly announced that African Americans who did not support him were not black, signaling the first time a white presidential candidate has publicly race-shamed voters into supporting him.

While many new outlets dismissed Biden’s racist comments as a public gaffe, many Americans forget that Biden was first elected to the U.S. Senate on a platform of keeping black families out of wealthy Connecticut communities and schools. Also, that Biden was the chief architect of federal U.S. drug laws that helped his running mate, Kamala Harris, put many more African Americans in prison. Sometimes for life.

So, it was no surprise that Biden’s campaign quickly received the Yelp “Racist” badge after several thousand anonymous reports of racism.

A spokesman for the Biden campaign. “This is clearly a political ploy by Republicans to bring attention to Joe Biden’s long history. Republicans are the real racists here. Why haven’t they been reported on Yelp?”

When asked whether the Biden would reverse any of the racist policies he has supported over his multi-decade career, that Biden campaign responded that it “declined to make any specific commitments at this time.”

Facebook comments appeared a short while later commenting that Republican campaign offices were earning Racism badges too, with claims that Donald Trump is a white supremacist. When asked to respond to the new badges, the Trump campaign said that people on Facebook should, “stand back and stand by.”

Social media users also complained that the badge was intentionally divisive and would be easily abused. Many people deleted their original comments for fear being labeled racists.

Yelp Headquarters

Yelp recently rolled out the Racist badge this week a way for users to identify businesses which have been accused of racist behavior. A Yelp employee who spoke on condition of anonymity described the problem:

“We’re not trying to downplay actual racism, but we’ve noticed a steady uptick in racial complaints against businesses on Yelp. Someone forgets to put ketchup packets in a take-out order and someone complains on Twitter or Facebook that it must have been because of racism. When dozens of other Internet crusaders see it, they trash that business’s review pages all over the Internet. Unfortunately, Yelp is one of those platforms. Yelp is supposed to be based on personal reviews, and so this kind of mob mentality defeats the purpose of Yelp. It really undercuts the valuable information that Yelp provides.”

“So obviously, Yelp management though the very best way to combat online mobs would be to publicly accuse a business or unsubstantiated racism and shut down all comments on their Yelp page,” he said with a chuckle. “Go figure.”

Yelp has not yet said whether a business can appeal the badge or how it can be removed.

A few hours later, Daily Omelet discovered that Yelp’s page had itself received a racist badge. Yelp quietly removed it. A spokesman for Yelp explained, “Well, of course Yelp isn’t racist.”

Hollywood Actor Indicts Netflix over Movie He Claims Could Sexually Arouse Him

0

TYLER COUNTY, TX — A former male model and Hollywood actor now-turned district attorney is facing re-election in November. As part of his re-election campaign, he has indicted Netflix over its recent distribution of the French film “Cuties”. Tyler is a rural county northeast of Houston. Netflix is based in Los Angeles.

Also known by its original French title “Mignonnes”, the controversial film tells the story of 11-year-old Amy as she rebels against her conservative Senegalese, Muslim family who has immigrated to France. Amy becomes fascinated by a classmate who leads a dance crew that performs suggestive moves in revealing outfits. Their group becomes popular and they perform dances on social media, even entering a dance contest. After an embarrassing public performance and a shaming by the judges and crowd, Amy gives up her dance troupe because it is too much pressure.

“Cuties” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2020, receiving positive reviews from critics and earning the Sundance Directors Award. Netflix acquired the rights to the film, and it was released internationally on the platform in September.

Originally, Netflix substituted a simplified the film’s simple movie poster for one which focused on the suggestive dance moves. This caused an uproar across the Internet and sparked death threats against the film’s director. Netflix apologized to the director, marking it up to a poor marketing decision.

“Cuties is a social commentary against the sexualization of young children,” a spokesperson for Netflix said. “This charge is without merit and we stand by the film.” Netflix argues that the artistic work wrestles with challenging themes, including the ways in which the Internet and social media distorts girls’ beliefs about their bodies and sexuality from a young age.

Nonetheless, the former Sex and the City extra-turned-prosecutor chose to indict the streaming platform for the promotion of lewd visual material depicting a child. The prosecutor accuses the film of appealing to a “prurient interest in sex” and saying that the film has “no literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.”

When asked whether the First Amendment protects the right to broadcast films which contain controversial material, the government employee responded, “Not always.”

“Sure, most of the movie isn’t about sex. But did you see that final dance number?” asked the district attorney.

“Those girls are up on that stage in their costumes wiggling their bodies around. What am I supposed to think? Despite the message of the rest of the film, the director’s only reason to put those girls in skin-tight leotards was to titillate the sexual appetites,” said the former Hollywood actor.

“As a prosecutor, I’m supposed to protect honest, God-fearing folk from thinking sexual things about young girls. Which is what people are going to think.”

One Texan dad had a different take. “I don’t think any normal adult looks at that there movie and thinks about those actors in a sexual way. That’s very strange, I gotta say.”
When asked whether the indictment was conveniently timed to support his re-election campaign, the district attorney replied, “Does it matter? The most important thing is that we think of the children. Not sexually, of course. No one’s actually thinking that,” he said, biting his lower lip.
